Snail Infestation!

First time I noticed them in my tank just a few hrs ago while doing a WC. There seems to be a lot of them in my filter media chamber. My problem is I can't really manually clean/pick up each one of these snail (8' tank that I can't even get into). I also don't want to pull out all my media and sump tank for cleanning. Fish snail eater might also not work with my big aros in the tank (or will they? which one?). It seems that my only option is chemical method but I really don't want to do this. If I just leave the snail alone what do you think will happen to my tank? Any snail experience/ideas/information you want to share?

Only thing I can think of trying in your tank would be a jumbo clown loach? I know from experience that smaller clown loaches can clear up a snail infestation pretty fast; I'd guess a jumbo clown would too, and would be big enough to not to be eaten by the aros?

I have no idea what could work in a sump.
