Nice tank bro, very nice aro love his blue
i tried the koi combo at high temps 72+ they have a weak immune system and die with fungus or any disease REALLY easily and that could spread.
Id be careful

Koi are not cold water fish..... Trout and salmon are cold water fish.

A koi's metabolism works best at temperatures of 70-74.

Koi and arowana have very different requirements and you will not be able to meet both in the same aquarium.

Both of your fish are very nice however!

Yeah, I'm definitely not for keeping the two together. My koi thrive in an all-year outdoor pond, where temperatures reach near freezing during the winter months and high 60's - low 70's in the summer. Coupled with the difference in diet, I would recommend you house your new Kohaku koi in a different set-up.

ontop of that koi require a special diet that your arowana will not like e.g wheat germ.
Again i agree with brandon that unfortunately koi and tropical fish are not meant and cannot thrive together, trust me i know cause i made the same mistake.
