I used to get mine off fishing tackle shops before LFS' around here began stocking them. They would often special order me flats of worms in 500 or 1000 groups at a rate just over cost as long as I picked up the day of delivery. The nice thing is they would be fresh and would keep for a long time.

Could give that a shot
