It really is rare to have a stable two aro com tank with fish at that size that are not sexually mature and presumably have not paired off yet...or have they?

Very lucky indeed. I tried to comm 4 in my 360 and it was a battle royal! I ended up giving 2 of them away and separating the remaining 2. Ended up costing me about $3000 but I have some very happy relatives and I still get to see the fish.
