I'm really happy a Canadian Aro forum has started. I've always enjoyed the Canadian forums more than the international ones... I think they're just more polite .
Right now I can't get an arowana because I'll be moving soon, once I move though I'll be buying one in the group order. I've alway loved asian arowanas. I havn't had an aquarium for over a year now, mainly because I visit home alot (halifax). I was really into discus for a while and even had some breeding pairs, I sold them after they raised their first batch of fry though. All I have now are dart frogs because they aren't a "ball and chain" like discus.
Here are some of my old fish.
