Training Tigers to switch diet .....

Someone in MFK web site saying that it took 2 months to starve a Tiger in order to get it done.

Have you guys heard of any story longer than that? :eek::eek::eek:

my 14 inch only took feeders when i got him. so i fed him a lot of that for a week. after that, basically put whatever you want him to eat in the tank. try and try again. also helps if you have tankmates that eat the same food as the tiger. in this case, i was feeding floating pellets to my aro and prochi. took over a month before the tiger ate the pellets. hes now hooked onto pellets but wont take prawn! lol

I dumped pellets into my tank trying to train my aro and two of my dats got trained without me even trying! :D

Day 12 of starving NTT's to take pellets (Hikari sinking carnivore). One NTT is now eating them, the other is holding out... :mad:

When I first got mine at 1.5 inches i just dropped some Azoo Aro sticks in with a cube a blood worms and they fell for it ! Must be easier when they are still juvies.
