I need to sell my aimara. I have no interest in committing another big tank to a solo predatory fish. I have had this guy for a year now. I got him at 5-6" and now he's about 10-11". I have grown him out pretty slow so that I wouldn't wash out his colour. He could probably be close to 18" by now if I wanted to and it really wouldn't take much for someone to get him there.
This fish is rarer and prettier than the more "common" variant from VZ. The VZ fish from Orinoco grow up to be greyish brown in colour, this variant from Guyana grows up to be bright red.
He's an awesome aggressive, rare, show fish. I would really like to keep him, but realistically it's not possible. If anyone wants him I would like to get $600 for him, but I'm open to offers!
Located in Halifax, Nova Scotia, but I will ship Canada wide at the buyers expense.
I will post pictures tomorrow, I just gotta get the pictures off my camera.
