How long does it usually take to grow a foot?

I agree, I'd love to get a huge tank, the only problem is space is limited. I'm looking into rays as well. But i don't wanna get a fish knowing it'll outgrow my tank. Don't want to stress about moving it or worst case scenario sell it. Thanks!

Hey guys, Trying to figure out if there are any smaller Arowana species that have a stunted growth or if anything like that exists. I'm new to Aro's so I'm reading and learning as much as I can. Im possibly looking for a 75-90 Gallon, depending on space available.
