Yes my system is in wall so very quiet but when I have the same tank as you I put a couple of water blaster pumps on it and put some pre filter in the overflows and it was ridiculously quiet. I think you could dampen that sound a Looong way if you wanted.

They your tank looks awesome! Your lucky you can keep plants with your AUl as mine will eat every bit of every plant including Java fern. Why is it so loud though?

Better by the day. Strange events however this arrow will NOT eat anything but pellets. Tried shrimp but has stopped taking them. Also HATEs NLS so won't take anything but Hikari carnivore, and sticks

Haha Chen. I feed him T-bone steak. As far as size I am not good at that as I always underestimate. (Ask my wife). I would say 9 inches? Food, a 500 gallon tank and 3 gph drip probably help. I am ridiculously happy with it so Far though!
