Yup he is purty. I've been feeding him pellets and dried krill 2 days and shrimp on the third. I'm trying to not overfeed and develop him too quickly. The colours in real life are a lot better than these pics. real nice gold, cant say enough about the quality of the fish that these guys bring in.

Here he is. Ive had him/her for about 6mo. Hes about 12.5inches

nope no aggression. the fight for food though! The aro is a champ he competes for food really well and it doesnt freak him out. I have 2 wide bars, 1 three bar indo, one thin bar and 2 tiny indos. I put them there to learn how to eat pellets cause the big ones do.

Hello, sorry for the late replies, I have widebars, thinbars and Indos. I have a 12" RTG from the summer order (its grown lots, eats like nobodies business). I used to have a 14" Jardini I grew from a size of my pinky. I will post some better pics of my aro soon. Sorry Yuppa, I'm not on...

I find that I remove some every time i do it. Sand is cheap and eventually I would just have it bare or I can add some back in with a cup. Just remember to stir the sand when you do water changes.

Jackson: yes I do agree about the lowering of the prices but it does allow everybody else enjoy these wonderful fish. Yup dats are really cool once they have settled in the have great characters when they get above 7" follow you like an Oscar.
