My henlei had 3-6" pups(they were huge) but two of them were massacred by the adult rays and only one survived unscathed. :(:mad: Now that's 3 pups I have lost in the last 2 batches so I will have to figure out a better method so there is 100% survival. Survivor looks to be female?

Thanks! Yes, lots of pups being born everywhere. Here is an update on this guy as he is eating pellets now and in the grow out tank with the other pup. His mom is pregnant too by the henlei male so some more leo/hens on the way.

Nice, I think everbody's rays are maturing now and it seems like everyone has the right kind of water and pups are everywhere. I have 3 more females pregnant and my henlei is due any day now. Are you keeping the bd pups to grow out and eventually sell or breed? I find bigger ones don't fetch...

I would suggest to anybody wanting to get an arowana to get one from Maju farms as my RTG is one of the nicest aros I have seen for shape and color. I owned one from another farm and it didn't even come close to the look of the RTG I have from Maju.

Nice and not surprising as gars do eat other fish!! Lots of big alligators for sale in Calgary,there was even a 3 footer for sale and some 2 footers. How are you going to move the gar and arapaima when they outgrow their tanks? Did you move the gar with a bag,net or container?
