I have a largish synodontis occelifer in my arowana tank, and it's such an awesome fish. Hides most of the time but does a great job cleaning up and has some pretty cool spots as well. 
Anyone keep synodontis?

hey A, i didnt think synos would look that great big... but when i saw one. holy fuck haha
Gold Ocean(commerce gate)?? they have one in their aro tanks... about 6" i think? looks so nice.. even tho it was one of those common ones with brown skin. hahah makes me wana get one now.. do these guys grow fast or slow?

I had a Syn. angelicus (yellow spot) with my RTG for a long time. Even when the RTG was big enough to eat him, the angelicus would use his rigid pectoral fins as a kind of mini sword to make the aro back off if he ever got too close. I found the angelicus a great addition to the tank.

Dannnngggg.... I was about to pick up a synodontis angelicus at the ontario reptile and aquatics expo for about 20 bucks i think. I backed out of it the last moment. Love the yellow spots on that one.
