In the short time I have known Tuan, owner of Aquarium Central in Edmonton, I have been really impressed by his knowledge, integrity, and passion for the hobby. He is also a really nice person who goes out of his way to try and help people. I have witnessed this first hand as we have done some work together. On our first meeting I saw Tuan using a light meter to do some experiments relating to how much light his plants are getting at certain depths in his aquariums. I think this kind of experimental learning is just what Tuan does. In management philosophy it is called TQM (Total Quality Management). In the context of an aquarium store, it means Tuan is always trying to learn and improve his operation. I highly recommend this store, not only for its livestock, plants, and equipment; I recommend it also because of Tuan running the store the way a store should be run. I give him top marks for what he is doing (speaking as a retired school teacher )
