After reading something about arowanas that are fed to often get fussy and even go on hunger strike. Which would probably explain why mine was so touchy for awhile. Its gone thru phases, pellets only, super worms only, worms, and fasting for a long period.

Anyways I finally gotten a diet of Hikari pellets in the day (small feeding, all it can eat in 1 minute), small feeding of either nightcrawlers or chopped shrimp and scallops. I'm trying to always leave him wanting more so that he's constantly hungry (not starving by any means).

Still trying to squeeze in super worms again but no go yet

It's weird because most fish would take SW readily. I find mines only once a day, with 2 kind of portions. First serving of soft food (gold fishes or mp) and second portion (to fill them up) of sw.

My Chilli used to have a bit of PA on an only sw diet, now that I feed him a diverse diet, the problem has gone away.
