More photos of November 25 BBXB's

Here are a few photos from the arrival of the CV Maju aros a few days ago (November 25, 2010). The weather was insanely cold for Vancouver (minus 15 with wind chill), so I did not get many photos at the airport. Due to a set of flight cancellations, I ended up babysitting a trio of BBXB's overnight; I put them in a spare tank I had running (my discus tank). Photos were taken with my Nikon D50, standard pop out flash, coral life compact flourescent grow light used on tank.

I think you can see some nice blue base in these fish, along with some nice shine on the 5th and even the 6th row; some pearlie development can be seen along edge of tail in some photos. Given proper care by their new owners these fish should develop very well I think.

This is the standard size (6-7 inches) for all shipments of BBXB's to Canada. :)

Great looking little BBXBs, I wish either my new house was going to be done sooner or it was going to be a lot later so I could justify setting up a smaller grow up tank in my current home.
