yea poor ray! i read the stinger was pulled out with a pair of pliers and the ray acted like nothing happened lol

I had a ray tag one of my loaches a while ago. Put the stinger right through the middle section of his body.

Knock on wood! I have been lucky as I only had one ray pickup a stinger in the sand and it stuck in his tail by his own stinger. I also had to pull it out with pliers but the ray healed up fine!

lol yea i always keep a close eye when i know a ray is about to shed its sting. i dont want to be pulling any out of any of my fish! that would be extremely stressful!
