Wow nice! I got some snails before and it over populated my tank. Thanks to my clown loaches and bichirs they were all gone.

Really good bodyshape on this RTG. Your setup looks good also, but I don't think such a dark background is helpful on such a young RTG...

yeah, the arowana took over my kitumba gibberosa (frontosa). i was too lazy to take down the black backgrond. what background color do you recommended? thank you.

Personally, I would go for a really pale or even white background till the fish gets to around 12-13''. There is a reason why LFS keep their Gold Aros in white tanks, and Reds Aros in black tanks. Background color affects the color (and shine level) of the fishes. After the fish reached the desired size or shine level, you can "solidify" his color by putting him in a darker background. If you find that white does not match well with your decor, I would go at least with light blue.
