I have done a bit research and gradually switching to this brand name of UV Sterilizer, which is called AQUA ULTRAVIOLET (ADVANTAGE) UV STERILIZER. This is a product of USA. (web site: www.aquauv.com) It is the type that connects to the outflow of a canister and hangs over the back of a tank.

Here is the result.

7-8 days before.

7-8 days after.

Within those days, I didn't change either the water or the media, yet feeding the same amount of food.

If you guys want to check out the price, please feel free to go to the accessories section.

Thanks:):):)

I used a UV sterilizer when I first set up my 320g tank. It was the only way I could get rid of the green algae. I stopped using it once the water became clear and have never had to use it again. I suspect I had too much nitrates in my water initially, even with 25% water changes every second day. I still keep it on hand just in case, they work great.
