wet/dry

i've been thinking of more filtration, but i dont want to crowd my tank with intake tubes. So my question is. Would it be posible if i ran a 2200gph wet/dry pump through 2 or 3 fx5 canister and not use their factory pump?
Or should i just run it though a 200l drum and fill the drum up with media?

go to a sump set up.... and avoid the canister set. Cleaning is easy and you can enjoy your set up and your arowana!
