So this is an update on chilli reds old elkindo, and his tank mate, a female motoro. It's been 1 1/2 months and looks like the big guy has settled in nicely. Pics are with nan light and kinda dark but enjoy.

How long you figure it would take an aro to grow from egg to roughly 6"? just a curious question...

Any way i can use a special paint or get any type of black cover so i can get my eheim filter intakes to match the black background i have on my aro tank? Any suggestions would be very helpful, thanks. Brian

Im awaiting a super red from CV Maju coming at the end of the month and just wanted to know what the best type of substrate is when keeping an arowana. I have gravel right now and i see a lot of people with bare bottom tanks and was thinking of doing the same. Any opinions would be appreciated...

Hello, im glad to be part of this arowana club with everyone,. In the last couple of years ive fallen in love with this fish, im looking forward to learning more about Arowanas from other members so i can keep the best looking Arowana in top health. Brian
