Truth is nobody knows for sure what causes drop eye in aros. Always fun to speculate tho.

Best to leave it alone. FYI tap water in Singapore can range from pH 7.0-8.0. Stability is always more important than so called 'correct' pH.

I would say XB for sure, but one of those smaller pieces that you roll the dice on as far as future potential. Sometimes they turn out, sometimes not. I suspect that this one turned out, which is why the suspense. :)
