When I talk about Dat's I talk about all as one:D The only thing I have noticed that is different between all 4 types I keep is the NGT's are the most aggressive towards other NGT's or not and they are really hard to get off live foods.

Why peat? They do not need low PH. Carbon and Ammonia chips are not needed if the tank is maintained properly and has more than enough filtration. coral chips- are they rinsed or leached of any salt that could be in them?

You should not be able to buy leopard frogs from any store in Canada. They are a native frog that has been dieing off more and more each year. The reason they are only $2 is they are for sure going to the marsh and catching them. Very bad thing to do. You could be passing on parasites as well...

I think it is all about the environment they are in. If they feel safe they will be out no matter what size they are.
