I really hope this guy is available in November!

After thinking about it over the weekend I don't want to put my money toward this right now. I am waiting on some confirmation to see whether I can import something extra special and extra rare in November. If the deal falls through I will probably end up going for one of these guys. So I guess...

I was thinking today. I would really like multiple aussie lungs the same size. However I can't afford more than one right now, but if this has to wait till next year (like March or April) I could probably pull buying 2 or 3 depending on the price. Keep me updated on this group buy.

I haven't kept arowana in about a year however my last RTG lived with some big endlis, a group of geophagus sp. 'red head', aussie lung, some datnoids, and some black trachycorystes. My next arowana will be kept with 5 dats (3 indos, 2 thin bars), an aussie lung, a few black trachycorystes...

Well, doing this should save me a couple hundred bucks, I'd rather wait and save that much.

I believe they are. I kept chalceus for years and never seen or heard of one getting quite that large, they usually max out around 10". Plus if it was chalceus the scales will be much larger. Still they are gorgeous fish, good luck with your sale.

That is the big draw back. I have kept WAL with other fish, but he was a huge one (over three feet) and I think the fight in him was gone by then. I think I will wait till November to decide. I am waiting to see if I will be able to import a very special animal. It would be a once in a life...

I think I have seen the picture. I thought the same thing myself. However I asked Oliver Lucanus about the xingu ray before and he told me that they are the same species as Brazilian Obignyi (or scobina). If I can remember properly he told me they come from the same generally area of the Xingu...

Oliver had some not too long ago. I don't know how big they were, but I think they were on for $249.99 I think.
