i bought a bunch of indo dats, and i was wondering whats the best way to grow them? i got them on bloodworms, brine shrimp, mp and silversides.they are around 1.5" what do you guys feed your tiny dats?

well to me i usually go for half the size of the main aquairum as the sump, so i can avoid any backflows caused by power outages, however the size really depends on how your filters are designed, larger biological or more foam sections etc. but generally the design and size is what you can fit...

if they are identical...then its much cheaper to buy the small versions haha

with too small of a tank, you might have an arowana with a dropping tail or even gill curls, honest opinion go for the largest tank your wallet can afford. i would recommend nothing smaller than 4x2x2 but i would personally try to get 6x2x2.

its true, the vortec MP40 are great pumps, but your best bet would be propeller pumps, look at other manufacturers such as Tunze maybe that helps. i have used their products and they are pretty good. but chen why dont you make a closed loop on a smaller return pump for only circulation. i have...

yea i agree with the feeding part even my dwarf was pretty bad. but that with all oddballs i guess. a very interesting fish to watch for sure. kolewolf, how much would shipping to toronto be? airport to airport?

so was planning to get these guys for a species tank, what do you guys think? anyone kept them before? i used to have one but it was a jumper and found the smallest crack in the top lid. wanted to get about 6 and maybe try a breeding project.
