when i over feed my SW with foods that contains too much water. (ie. lettuce, cheeries etc.) it smells like ass.. kill them and throw it out. its not worth the time and effort to clean this nasty smelling mess. with your new batch i would put 2" of bran or oatmeal as bedding and feed it...

my red was super picky too, it was turning down SW and live feeders. until i started pumping it with theo's frogs. now that the stomach is stretched it accepts almost everything i throw in there except pellets.

i have a 220 with 75 sump with no added support. but it really depends on where you are putting your tank. (i.e. against a load bearring wall, existing support beams in the basement, etc.) take a pic from the basement.
