So I finally got around to setting up my 180 and filled it. Noticed that the water level wasn't lining up nicely with the trim and water was flowing into one overflow first before the second one. Whipped out the level and measuring tape and noticed that the tank/stand is off a tad. Water...

I fill up at Costco whenever I can. No complaints. Wait time is about 10 mins but if you go during down times it's about 2-3 mins.

Thanks for the picture. How thick is the glass you used for the strips and the baffles? You do raise a good point about the rocks. I may just use a few more pipes and lay them down length wise so water flows through.

Hey Thomas, Do you mind posting a pic of the glass piece that you siliconed to hold up the drip tray? I was thinking of using PVC pipes to hold up the egg crate and media but was concerned the weight of the media would cause pressure points against the glass bottom...

Thanks for the feedback. Instead of a drip tray to create a wet/dry (the wet/dry section looks small), I think I may pack the first section with mechanical filtration and add airstones under the bacteria house in the second section. On a related note - does anyone know of any good places...
