Wow that's awesome! It probably thought it the father's arowana mouth.

There's really nothing special just let them settle in more and it will eat anything you drop. Or you can starve it for a week and drop whatever food you want to feed it.

Once it settle down then even the brightest light and it will eat infront of you. However for now just complete darkness. Wait for a few weeks. Or you can dim the lights and wait for few hours then drop the food and step back a lilttle if you wanna watch it eat.

Best to turn the lights off to complete darkness as it's new to environment and still settling in. Guinea lap are wild caught so it may take weeks for them to get use to the tank. Also laps are not really aggressive eater. You can add more bichirs to help it to come out more as they like to...

And weird part about it is that most blind dats have it on there left side.

And who said it cannot be done. Here are some pics of them together. They like to dig by vacuuming the sand and moving large rocks. That why they end up with those snout scars on their faces. I removed all the large rocks to prevent it from happening again. They are like bulldozers. 4 aussie...

Why is always the left eye that get damage most of the time a ST get an eye injury. I've seen plenty of ST with eye injury and all on the left eye. BTW you able to ship to Vancouver?

What at $2088 that is some major lose from your side. A person whobuys this sure will be a lucky one for getting a good deal.
