So this weekend I'm going to be building the sump. I've got all the pieces except the baffles. Is there somewhere that glass is easy to acquire for cheap? Or will acrylic hold up?

Talk about dream tank. I would park a chair in front of this tank and never leave. I think if i ever bred BDs i would be greedy and want to keep them all. They're so beautiful.

The tank has arrived. it doesn't look like a 75 gallon will fit in the stand, so I'm back to using the old 55 that i have as a sump. I'll probably add another 55 gallon later, side by side, as the fish grow.

Ended up using rubberized tweezers to remove the bulk of the adult lice by hand, this was scary, but kinda fun. I put him in a small container with a bit of water, and used a folded rubber glove to cover the pointy bit. Then I got a product called Dimilin, it's meant for coy ponds, but i read up...
