Prawns is better than shrimps as prawns have higher protein content and much bigger in size too. However it would depend on the species of prawn. Best find a supplier from Taiwan as they have many color strain for severums. From golden to red. Green to blue.

Selling some of my 14-16 inches lapradei for $100. I also have a 10" for $60. Not the exact fish in the pic but it's look the same. It's just hard for me to take pics of the exact fish.

I have some 6-7 inches alligator if you're interested for $80. Not sure how much is the shipping cost though. They will be 18"-24" in a year. They grew fast. Just got them 2 months ago at 2.5". I can get tiger shovelnose too but I'm sure the are probably available close by at your area.

Best to practice on silver aro first and it will be risky. There are large silver aros with DE that sometimes pops out from buy/sell section. It may sound cruel but sacrifices are always made for best result.

Never done a DE surgery before but it's best to ask Jay from Arrovillage for that one.

In your area is common as they are native fish there but here in BC no one have them. :rolleyes: Just a little fact. :) Please google search the native range of wild population of bowfin first.

Well I bought Kenta's aros that have both it's gill curled and did a surgery on both the curled gills. I didn't do the traditional method of cutting the gills except the gill membrane as it look messed up. Then I did the massage method ON the gill plate by slowly massaging the curled gill plate...
