    Low water level

    How come in all the pics I see on the internet, all aro keepers keep there water level so low??? Isn't it hard to keep the water clean???

    Oh, I forgot to add, that it's just the tip of the scales that is a little bit tilted up. My fish is swimming and eating normally.:eek: Lousy pic, but hope it helps

    Ideal tank size for comm

    I'm moving into my new house in a couple of months, and wanted to know what is the ideal size for a comm tank. I'm planning to DIY a 144"L x 36-48"D x 30" H. Was wondering if it's gonna be big enough:o. Have to tell the contractor to leave me some more room if too small

    Feeders

    How do I get my aro to go after the feeders that I just put in his tank. Don't worry guys the feeders are home-bred. My fish is 10"+ but is only interested in the SW:rolleyes: He prefers to chase after my bluedot pleco.

    Is 8-9 SW too much for an 10" BBXB, I give him 4 in the morning and the rest in the evening everyday???

    Scales funny

    Just looked at my BBXB as usual, and I notice that 3 scales on of his head are kinda curled up, was wondering what could be the cause of this???? Calling all experts, gonna do a WC tonight, if it helps

    Laval, Quebec

    Hey y'all , name is Phon from laval, I got my first BBXB from kenta in the summer order. It's nearing 9-10" long and getting nice blue shine. It lives in in a 220g by itself, filtered by 1X FX5, 2X eheim 2218. His/her diet consist of SW, crickets and Feeders(I breed them myself:p)
