from what i know of it doesnt grow back as some exporters cut off tails of some rays.. as for breeding im sure its ok i have seen a vid from asia of a BD male with no tail at all mating.

ya i have an over flow with a 55gal sump.. tank is 6x2x2.5

tanks at 80. from waht i have read they do like cooler waters but i have also seen alot of ppl have them in warmer waters with aros and so on..
