A very dark looking silver. Not a black. Probably the lighting. To me, the barbels look like they will grow back... perhaps not in perfect shape, but they should come out. As mentioned, jack up the heat, add salt. Eye and scales should heal in no time. Barbels will take a little longer.

is that an esox in there with it? northern pike? chain pickeral? muskellunge?

There are about 15 asian aros for sale at aquapets right now. but most are of medium size. silver star blvd. in the same plaza as staples business depot.

since you're in the area: Dragon King Gold Ocean Lucky's Aquapets All these stores currently have arowana for sale.... they are also all walking distance from each other.

i agree.. just because they live in a tank their whole lives does not mean they will get drop eye. it is all genetics in my opinion.
