I once saw a short-bodied silver at Big als. It was swimming with the other silvers and was noticeably stunted in the body. I wanted to grab it so bad, but held myself back. It was gone a few days later. :(

wow, this fish is growing quick! great work. we can tell you're putting in lots of care for this little one. not eating for one week is nothing. i'm currently trying to get my chili to take pellets. It has refused to eat for a month. In this one month, it has probably eaten 2-5 pellets!

it got really skinny at one point. I have no idea why. it's not like it's not eating, but as of lately, it seems to be getting more mass. I've had the fish for about a year now. I remember getting it close to chinese new year a year ago. i don't have a confirmed measurement, but my guess is...

i actually thought about that at one point, but realized that it wouldn't match anything as i have it sitting on a metal tube stand. however, i am definitely going to go this route on my next tank. This is not a permanent home for the aros.
