180 gallon arylic tank verse glass tank

Hello,

I am looking for 180g tank, where is the best place to purchase? And is acrylic or glass, which is better?
Any suggestion would be great!.

there is a place in montreal now the guy has a used tank 9ft by 30 or 32 by 18 builded with 3/4" glass for $500 if you feel like driving up here to buy it I can get you his address.

rather far... from Montreal..... especiallly for glass. If I relocate back to Montreal... maybe yes but I live in Toronto now.... and it is not practical.

yeah well i just thought it was rather cheap. a custom build one like that goes for about 4g...

yes, 4 g is high for acrylic tank. any supplier here in Toronto you how of?

no 4g for a 1" glass tank. I'm not from TO and dont go down there often so no clue..

I got the quote over the phone. Maybe 240 gallon would be even better. You guys have any pictures of Jason's workmanship?? Glass is just too heavy....
