A new Aquarium store opening soon in Toronto

This is exciting news indeed! I think it is awesome that more stores and importers are getting into the market bringing quality fish in at ever more affordable prices! :)

yea the FH is all golden monkey new shipment coming in a week or 2, although it is small, these will turn out very nice. already have a pretty developed head, you can tell later the head will be huge.
 
Located at steels and midland, behind tim hortons at the corner. this one is right afew stores beside golden garden.
 
Just came back from TO. And that store is wicked. Best Reds I have seen yet in my young hobbyist life. Did not ask for the price, did not dare to :D

Also some very nice fully crossed XBs, at around 3300$. Def. a place to check out, and that Comm Tank at the entrance is insane...

That's a 11 feet comm. tank right behind the cashier.

That "did not dare to ask" red is in the range of $6000 - $7000. very very red. isn't it?

Yes they were red. Red, as in really red, not your dark orange red. Do you know where they got their Red Aros in the Comm Tank, they were impressive. I mean, most Comm Tank are made of "cheap" aros, but the Reds in that tank were all red with great bodyshape.

Did not really get anything special, some superworms and a few discus for the girlfriend... I am a bit broke these days :)

Which one were you talking about? The big 15" + xback or the smaller ones at 7"? The bigger one is the one thats completely crossed, full gold bar is about $7000+. I think the Smaller ones are $2500 - $3000. I wasn't there for a day or two, musta miss ya.

I actually posted photos of them back then. Its under the thread, new standard for aros in the GTA. Something like that.
 
many shops have tried to be a arowana specialist store here in the UK

Unfortunately there is just not enough demand for aros to keep a store going they all seam to go bust in less than 2yrs
 
Dropped by the Dragon King store last week and was amazed with the great selection. Gotta win the lottery soon because I saw some nice beautiful reds from the Elkindo farm and I want one so badly!!! :D

Anyone know if these guys are affiliated with the people who used to sell their Elkindo reds from their home in Oakville?
 
I will make a trip to TO in the next week. Are there any other stores you would recommend visiting in the area of DK?
 
i wouldnt waste my time in gldn ocean i was there a week ago nothing nice n guy there not very pleasent, Lucky's?
