Because I'm on the east coast, no one buys stuff like that here. And although someone in Ontario might want three and someone in BC might want four unless there is enough people in one area to but like 10 I just don't see the purpose of going through all the trouble to order fish, QT them, re pack them and so fourth. It's nothing personal, I just know the business. Everyone wanted Cuban gars, so I ordered like 50. I had enough requests to sell 100 if everyone who asked for one wanted to buy one. Then when I finally got them and was planning to sell them at a very reasonable price ($100 for 8") I could only find confirmed buyers for 15 fish. And I use confirmed buyers loosely. Same thing happened with Azuls. I've had access to huge amounts of Azuls for years. That's why I've kept so many personally. Everyone bugged me about how I could get them so cheap. I offered to bringing them in to sell for about $50-$60 a pop and no one bit. It's honestly nothing personal. Simply business. I've lost too much money going out on a limb and buying larges amounts of large predatory fish, then just sitting on it. The market just isn't there yet. That's why I stick to discus, apistos, plecos and tetras to sell.
