Arowana head injury bloody eye

Long story short yesterday morning i heard a huge bang coming from my tank, ran over to check, everything seemed fine. I knew it was my aro because of how loud it was, watched him for a bit and he seemed to be swimming around fine.
get a call from my cousin saying that one of his eyes is completely white and has blood in his eye.
wtf do i do i dont have a hospital tank

ill get a pic up as soon as i get home, sucks he does this just as i try to sell it to upgrade to some new aros off of Theo.


does anyone know what i should do? is he going to lose the eye?

hes still swimming ok and around lots
other eye is normal
not eating though

Sorry to hear bro; not much experience with this but keep us posted on his condition. Based on reading some forums, hopefully this will go away given time.

i think it might be ok might not lose the eye
i can just barely see his pupil now through the white and the swelling has gone down
might end up blind in that eye though?

i think he will be blind. keep up with frequent water changes and monitor closely. not much else you can do but wait. gluck, hope he recovers.
