Hey there, I'm new to these types of fishes and want to purchase one maybe a HBRTG/RTG as a starter. I'm in the GTA area and would appreciate any input as to how to best select these. I seen them for awhile now and feel I need a change ( currently have african cichlids ) to someting else.

welcome. just go with your gut feeling. Spend some times looking at the aro first to see its habit and defects then make your selection.

totally agree with h.l. nathan..... becareful of light at the LFS.
Any LFS you can recommend and that you trust? Where did you buy yours from? What does the light have to do with it? Does it change the appearence of the fish?
