There seems to be a pick up in scam activity lately aimed at both US and overseas buyers.
Look at these:

One of the above sellers (who claims to be in Los Angeles) is also trying to sell in Norway:

And the same person is also posting globally on aquarium internet forums:

The person(s) in the posts above just tried to register on arowanaclub.ca. An IP search was made and it turns out they had another ID here already. Why would someone try to register multiple accounts here while simultaneoulsy be engaged in a global sales campaign for Asian arowana?
If you are overseas and want an Asian arowana, contact the farms direct to find out their agents. DO NOT deal with anonymous posters who have no proof of any fish.
If you are in the USA you must be even more careful. Your government does not allow you to own Asian arowana and so you are breaking the law if you try to get one. And if you get scammed you can not even get the police to help you since you will be admitting to a crime in the process (trying to own an illegal species).
If you are in Canada you are in luck as there are a variety of stores and importers for you to choose from. Beware of unsolicited emails or pm's offering fish for sale!
