BBXB development to 18 months

Cirrus

Arowana blogger
I am slowly starting to organize the thousands of photos I have accumulated over the years. I came across a set from a small farm I visited in northern Malaysia. These guys export to Japan. ;)

The BBXB photos are nice, but I notice that the fish never actually cross. So too, when I visited the farm I saw the same thing - big beautiful fish, but no crossing.

In any case, the blue is so nice maybe the crossing doesn't matter. It is almost more like a BBXB/HBRTG? :)

Note: The photo set above was actually provided me by the farm when I enquired about possibly importing from them. I will try to dig up my photos from my visit to the farm and post them next.

nice blue shine...ive noticed that too that a lot of so called xbacks dont really fully cross...prob just a way to make more money?

nice aros cirrus
i got a bbxb that never crossed as well,
but some 6th level shine is developing
only time will tell i guess..
when the gold frame thickens it might cross over.. your aros still look pretty young to me.

as long as the prices are right for those, they are still nice looking aros. the blue shine is amazing. it wont be a super high end xback but im sure in due time, some pearls will show and some specks on the 6th. i doubt it will cross but a very nice blue base.
