I enjoy the fact the males stay relatively small. My bigger one is at 13" and smaller one about 11. Maybe its because they don't get live or frozen, only pellets and only fed every second day??? I'm not a big fan of pumping up any fish nor do I enjoy a cloudy tank from overfeeding. Some people like the big, overstuffed UFO's but I prefer to keep mine thin and fit. Besides if I fed daily my tank would be a mess. They are dirty fish.
