A major major public aquarium designer I met in Europe has contacted me about my interest in importing good quality filter media - Japanese mat, bio-balls, ceramic rings, fibrous glass - for use in sumps.
This stuff is sold by the ton and/or cubic meter, so I need a lot of people involved to pull this one off.
Below see the product on offer, along with some basic information.
I will open a new thread in special projects, which includes the whole price-list, along with some information about the supplier (pretty interesting people).
Hopefully you can see the photos below well enough to know if you are interested in the product or not. It really only makes sense for people setting up big sumps to join this deal I think....
