does anyone breed superworm and crickets? do you have any success?
I have just started on July 7th for the superworm and now I have lots of pupas. And with the crickets I have succeeded too because I see some little guys now.:p

I used to accidently breed crickets when I kept reptiles years ago. I've never tried breeding super worms but have been successful with meal worms

Is there a thread anywhere in this forum telling us (newbie) how to breed the superworms and crickets because I fumble into the Vietnamese website and they had instruction of how to breed superworms. That's why I started and it worked out pretty good for me so far.

It's really simple to breed SW.

1) Pump your SW's up to a good size.
2) Find somewhere that's heated / hot (higher success rate at 28-30 celsius)
3) Put the SW's individual in film canisters or pill boxes
4) Leave them in the dark for 2-3 weeks
5) Extract your Beetles and put them in seperate tank
6) Feed your beetles with fruits / veggies etc & make sure your bedding stays dry.
7) Tada, extract your SW"s every month. Just a guestimate...30 beetles should produce more than 800 -1000 a month.
