So i've been hearing about this little compact point and shoot canon since it came out late this year. A buddy of mine got one as soon as it came out and loves it. I ended up with one in my hands today after price matching with Futureshop and got an amazing price on the S90. Now just have to pick up a memory card tomorrow. This unit is very very compact and takes amazing photos....this from all reviews is the next step down from SLR type models...I got it so my wife can use this instead of her cell phone ... but kids are hands off! 
Also will use this more then my 7D since it fits in my shirt pocket!
