If an aros fins have been ripped up by tankmates will they always grow back ok? Will the pectoral fins also grow back?

If this is a growing-size arowana, fins / tail should be able to grow back. But it may or may not be growing back to what it used to be.

depends how it was ripped..
if it is ripped between the rays then it will heal no problem within days.
if its ripped on the rays, then nope, it will heal a little but the end result will not make u happy.

a friend has an aro that he says has bites out of the pectoral fins and he was wondering if they will grow back normal or not. this is why i ask.

generally will not heal properly. try to feed high protein diet and see if growth will increase. but from experience it wont heal perfectly. now he neeeds to pray that his aro will compensate with really good colors
