Giant Gourami

I see that Fantasy Aquatics in Vancouver has a nice 14-16 inch giant gourami for sale; anyone here ever kept one with an Asian aro before?

I keep a giant red tail (20"+) and a giant vampire (24"+) with my super red and they work great just make sure the gourami is bigger than the aro. I tried a smaller super red and the aro kept attacking it.

theo i saw that giant gourami in person and its aggressive as hell. i woulnt try it with any asian aro less than 2 feet long! are you looking for tankmates for your red aro? id go to north american pets. they usually have white giant gouramis at around 10-12 inches. those would be better to try out.

The Vampire Gourami that Skynoch has was in my tank with 4 Black Arowana and I had no problems. Just a big eater!!!!
