How to sedate an arowana in order to remove defective scale

I have my RTG ordered from you last september and it is growing to 7-8" so far. Healthy and starting to see some gold color on the edge of the scales. But there are about 4-5 defective scales like finger nail chip. these have been there since day one. Since it is young and not concern at time, but now, the fish is growing older and scales are developing the color, this defective look obvious. What should i do. If I would like to remove them, what steps should I take and what medicine to get it in sedate state to do the operation on.

if it looks like the scales are chipped at the edge there there is something wrong with a) the diet b) the water, it will grow back just takes time dont sedate him for no reason
 
Normally in Malaysia, we can get the sedative from our lfs. But must becareful of the amount that used, if overdose, will caused fatality to the fish....
 
easy easy, you guys have some fun already. laugh all you want. If you know answer to it if not get serious yo. SEDATE . Did I say seduce ? probably you are waiting to be seduce then. ;>>((
