[lang=nl]As promised the P14 development pics. P14 patterns can differ a lot also, personally I love a good quality big spot variant. By selecting the right parents it is possible to influence this pattern to a certain degree.


It's hard to predict the quality of P14's in the first months of their lives. As an example, you can see the pattern of a just born pup in the breeding facility below. The left photo shows the pup in his youth pattern, with only the edge spotting giving an indication of its potential. The next two pictures show the pup approximately 6 months later and swimming happily in the tank of a customer. The pup is slowly turning black and the dots are getting huge (seem to keep growing every day).

Selecting good parents is crucial, especially the breeding male must be fantastic in my opinion. Here is a picture of one of the big spot breeding males (pure F2) in the breeding facility.
