how many years did it take your fish to develop red? mine is baby right now i dont see any red on scales on a little bit on mouth and gill plates

Dude,

There is no time frame when the red will develope.

All these boils down to:
1. Quality of fish
2. Grooming / up keeping of fish
3. Is there proper tanning done.

My oldest fish with me is just 3 years old and this fish in this thread is 2.5 years old.

ya i had my fish for 2 months now i feed it sw everyday to make it big haha
