My first time keeping an arowana, i got 8 other fish living with this 14 inch power red in a 120G.

Great looking aro, love the tiles set up! What kind of tiles are those? Heard some tiles are not good for fishes..is this true?
 
Looks great, kind of artistic. The dark background tones of the tank really enhance the colour of your fish.

Its just large floor tiles from Rona.

it doesnt bother the aro at all. its was just in front of the aro when the pic was snapped. the only fishes that charges at him are the parrots when they have eggs under the powerhead, and the aro wants the current.
 
Sorry to get u jumping! lolz I remember reading somewhere that some types of tiles releases chemical that is not suitable for fishes. Let me track back my re-search and post the infos.
 
I'd also be interested in that info. Tiles in an aquarium look so clean, I am tempted to try it on one of my tanks.
